We purchased a new home 2 years ago and were finding certain rooms and areas in the house cold. We called AC Fuel Efficiency and Terry came in and did thermal imaging of our home. We were very surprised at what we found (being a new home). With the report Terry gave us and his professionalism and expertise we where able to talk to the builder and get problem areas corrected. Earlier this year my wife and I had become aware of a mould problem in our home. Having three small children we became very concerned for their health as well as our own. After identifying what kind of mould we were dealing with and became aware that we could rid of the mould ourselves we were still very concerned about how it got there in the first place, that’s when we were told about AC Fuel Efficiency and the services they provide.  We called to have thermal imaging done in our home.  We wanted to find any trouble areas that could be causing the issues we were having.  This service is simply amazing!!  Being able to see behind your walls where there might be a potential problem with water leaking in, damaged insulation or in our case where there simply isn’t any insulation, was amazing. We were able to make our home more efficient by adding insulation where we needed and save us money in the long run from; 1st from having to rip out the walls to find the areas of concern and 2nd making our home more energy efficient. I would highly recommend this service to everyone - even if you’re not having problems, there is certainly something to be gained from this service, if not for just piece of mind.

As the proud owners of a recently completed, entire basement renovation,  we were very unhappy to discover a small animal had found it's way into our basement bedroom ceiling ( now dry walled ) and seemed to freely travel in and out of the house through an opening, perhaps at the top of the foundation wall. We could either spend a large sum of money digging up our entire front concrete porch at what cost to locate the hole or start tearing apart our new dry walled basement ceiling looking for the hole, also a very costly undertaking.
Fortunately, AC Fuel Efficiency provided a 3rd, non invasive , very quick solution. In a matter of 10 minutes, using thermal imaging, Terry was able to pinpoint the likely location of the nest, thus vastly reducing the section of ceiling we will need to remove to locate the hole leading outside.  The reduction in cost alone for us will be significant.
We found Terry to be extremely professional, knowledgeable and refreshingly honest in explaining what thermal imaging can and cannot do.
I would highly recommend anyone, before buying a home,  employ the services of both a reputable home inspector and AC Fuel Efficiency.
